Ubisoft's XDefiant Set to Launch with Five Factions and Game Modes, Making a Unique Debut on May 21

On May 21, Ubisoft is set to launch XDefiant for the Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC through Ubisoft Connect. During this initial 'preseason', players will have access to five different game modes and the ability to play as one of five factions inspired by existing Ubisoft franchises.

The game offers a variety of gameplay modes, addressing feedback from the gaming community regarding its style and approach. 

One point of contention was the use of the title prefix 'Tom Clancy's', which some felt was misleading given the lack of connection to the author. As a result, the decision was made to remove Clancy's name from the title.
