Home automation manufacturer SwitchBot will be launching its universal remote control for smart home devices and televisions on July 12th for a price of 70 euros. This remote control will be compatible with Matter support when paired with a SwitchBot Hub 2 or Hub Mini. The announcement of this smart home remote control was made last month, but there was no mention of a release in Europe. However, the company has now revealed the European product page, indicating that the device will be available for purchase at 70 euros starting from July 12th. It is important to note that Matter support will only be functional with the use of a SwitchBot Hub 2 or Hub Mini. The universal remote control features a screen with four customizable buttons below it. Additionally, the remote control includes volume and arrow buttons, as well as a scroll wheel. Users will have the ability to manage smart devices such as air conditioners and lights, as well as control television streams like Apple TV. Apart from Matter compatibility, the remote control can also operate smart home devices through infrared and Bluetooth connections.
