Marktplaats and 2dehands.be are currently experiencing technical difficulties. The issues began at approximately 10:10 am on Monday morning. This outage coincides with the 25th anniversary of Marktplaats.
On allestoringen.nl, over 12000 reports were received on Monday morning regarding the Marktplaats outage. 2dehands.be is also not accessible. Various users on social media have reported issues with the website and app. The messaging feature is also not functioning, making it impossible for buyers and sellers to communicate on the platform.
Update 12:15 p.m.: After nearly two hours, the technical problems have been resolved. Both Marktplaats.nl and 2dehands.be are now accessible again as of around 12 noon. The number of reports on allestoringen.nl has significantly decreased. The cause of the issues remains unknown.
