Introducing the Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 714: A New 14" Convertible ChromeOS Device with Enhanced Features

Acer unveils the Chromebook Plus Spin 714, a 14" convertible featuring ChromeOS with new functionality announced by Google today.The 14" Chromebook Plus Spin 714 boasts an aluminum housing and is powered by a Core Ultra 7 processor - either a 165U or a 155U.

 Noteworthy is the Ultra 7 processor's integrated NPU for AI tasks, although ChromeOS currently does not utilize this feature. The device will come with either 8 or 16GB of RAM and a 256GB or 512GB SSD. The screen offers a 1920x1200 pixel resolution and can showcase the entire sRGB color gamut. The touchscreen is protected by antimicrobial Gorilla Glass. The webcam provides a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. 

Furthermore, the laptop comes with Wi-Fi 6E through an Intel AX211 network card and HDMI 2.0 connection. It includes two Thunderbolt 4-supported USB-C ports and a standard USB-A connection. A stylus that conveniently fits in the housing is also included. Acer's exact configuration is yet to be disclosed. The price is set at 829 euros exclusive of VAT, or approximately one thousand euros inclusive of VAT.
