Intel Unveils Lunar Lake Details and Confirms Q4 Desktop CPU Launch

Intel has revealed some exciting news ahead of the Computex fair, giving us a sneak peek into what we can expect from the renowned processor manufacturer. The company has shared initial details about Lunar Lake and has confirmed the launch of new desktop CPUs for Q4.

According to Intel, production wafers for the Lunar Lake line of processors designed for laptops have already started rolling off the assembly line. Lunar Lake is set to be released in the third quarter of this year and will build upon the innovative chiplet design first introduced in Meteor Lake. 

The upcoming CPUs will feature a new generation of P-cores codenamed Lion Cove and E-cores codenamed Skymont. Additionally, enhancements have been made to the Thread Director, which controls these types of cores.
