Paradox Entertainment has once again delayed the release of Prison Architect 2. Originally set for the end of March, then pushed to May 7, the game will now be released on September 3. The reason for the delay is due to issues with the game's memory usage.

In a blog post on their website, Paradox Entertainment explained that while the game was ready for release in May, new problems arose after fixing the memory issue. Developer Double Eleven needs more time to address these stability problems before the game can be launched. In the meantime, Paradox has promised to provide updates on Prison Architect 2 and will be hosting a livestream on April 25 at 4:30 PM Dutch time.

Prison Architect 2 is the sequel to the popular 2015 game Prison Architect. Players are tasked with building and managing prisons in a 3D environment, with an improved campaign mode featured in the second installment. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.
