Development studio Warhorse Studios and publisher Deep Silver are gearing up to launch Kingdom Come: Deliverance II later this year for Windows and the Xbox Series.

Similar to its predecessor, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is set in the late Middle Ages in Bohemia, known today as the Czech Republic. The game follows the journey of Henry, who starts off as Sir Hans' squire. Players have the freedom to shape Henry's destiny by acquiring various skills or engaging with other characters in different ways. Whether Henry becomes a nobleman or a criminal is all up to the player.

Utilizing Crytek's CryEngine, Warhorse Studios is crafting Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The initial images showcase impressive lighting effects, but it remains to be seen how representative they are of the final gameplay experience.
