The EDPB seeks to provide clarity on the relationship between the GDPR and other relevant legislations like the Digital Services Act and Digital Markets Act. Additionally, the collaborative efforts of privacy regulators intend to safeguard the personal data of EU citizens worldwide.
In order to execute the strategy spanning from 2024 to 2027, the EDPB aims to develop practical guidelines to assist organizations in adhering to data protection laws correctly. Furthermore, the EDPB aims to bolster cooperation within the EU through coordinated enforcement measures. The EDPB also highlights a focus on addressing the challenges posed by artificial intelligence.
