Discord's AI chatbot Clyde will officially be disabled on December 1, leaving users unable to interact with it in group messages, private chats, or server discussions. The reason behind Discord's decision to remove Clyde remains a mystery.

The support page for Clyde confirms that the bot will no longer be operational after December 1. Back in March, Discord had announced its adoption of OpenAI technology to enhance Clyde's capabilities, such as responding to queries, sharing GIFs, and suggesting music.

The original plan was to continuously refine and enhance Clyde's abilities to make it an integral part of the Discord experience. However, Discord has not disclosed the reasons for discontinuing the AI bot, nor have they hinted at the possibility of introducing a replacement bot.
