Introducing a new feature, the benchmark database UserBenchmark now offers a paid subscription service. Although the service is still available for free in a basic form, users who wish to avoid the time-consuming captcha can opt for the paid subscription of 12.10 euros per year.

Upon creating a new account on UserBenchmark, users are directed to a Pro menu in their account, where they are informed about the 12.10 euro annual cost for a UserBenchmark Pro subscription. This subscription provides users with 'priority access without captcha,' the ability to benchmark individual components, run stress tests on GPUs and CPUs, and access game modes. The website also mentions that "Your subscription supports independent benchmarking."

Tom's Hardware highlights that while the software remains free to use, there are certain restrictions in place. This includes limiting the number of users who can use the software for free simultaneously and requiring them to complete a time-consuming captcha in the form of a mini-game.

UserBenchmark offers software designed for measuring hardware speed. While the tool has faced criticism in the past, particularly for its perceived bias towards Intel hardware, it has also been known to feature new benchmarks for unreleased processors and video cards on occasion.
